Accessibility in the library

Tel-Aviv University is constantly striving to provide an accessible learning environment both physically and academically,

allowing students with special needs to move about Campus safely and independently.

Accessibility in the library

 Entering the Campus and parking your car

■  Students with a disabled parking permit issued by the Ministry of Transportation do not need any additional permit to enter the Campus gates.
We recommend browsing the campus map to locate the entrance gate and parking zone lot closest to your destination.

 ■ Two reserved parking spaces for the disabled are located next to the Sourasky library, and in addition, there are at least  two such spaces reserved at each of the in-campus parking lots.

 

 

An accessible library

■ The main and rear entrances of the library are both wheelchair accessible from the parking lot.

■ At the main entrance level there is a wheelchair lift to for access to the half-floor above the lobby.

■ An inductive loopset for persons with hearing disabilities is available at the reference desk.​

■ Accessible restroom facilities are located on the ground and second floor; both may be accessed using the elevator.

■ Text display on library computers may be enhanced by pressing "Ctrl" ; "+".

■ Photocopy machines accessible to people with special needs are available at the Limudit (undergraduate) library.

■ The library supplies its reference services via E-Mail and  live active chat service with one of the

​reference librarians ​ Sunday-Thursday, 9:00-19:30
