Full-text multidisciplinary scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from peer-reviewed journals and books. Some of the records have links to full-text. Much of the pre 1995 journal owned-content was digitized, bringing articles from as far back as 1823 (The Lancet) to the desktop. Since 2003, many authors have been submitting extra value-added content associated with the research, such as audio and video files, datasets and other supplementary content.
