The Faitlovitch collection – Photos from the historical archive

The Faitlovitch collection is named after Dr. Jacques Faitlovitch, a researcher and an Orientalist who lived for many years amongst the Ethiopian Jews.

He had studied their history as well as their culture and worked vigorously for them and for enhancing their connections with the Jewish World and with Israel.

The collection, located at the Central Library, comprises unique items with substantial historical value which teaches us the heritage of Ethiopian Jewry.
