Reference service encompasses a wide range of assistance offered by library staff to patrons for their research and scholarly requirements.
These services include, but are not limited to:
- Retrieving specific bibliographic information.
- Assisting in locating items within the library catalog and databases.
- Recommending sources related to a particular research topic.
- Providing guidance on search terms, citations, and reference issues.
- Offering support for word processing and presentation software, as well as citation management software, among others.
- Technical assistance with library online resources, including the website, catalog, and Library App.
- Offering orientation and guidance within the library and campus.
