The library's extensive collection of books can be found in the two main reading halls on the first and second floor

Reading halls

The reading hall holds books and periodicals in the following disciplines: Classical Studies (with CC/CCG as catalog code), History (General), East Asian Studies (histroy), Geography, Middle Eastern and African History, Arabic Linguistics and Literature, Islam Studies, Social Sciences, Psychology, Philosophy, Sciences (500), Applied Sciences (600) and also a special collection: The Asaf Simchoni collection (CS), focusing on Military History Studies.

 
The reading hall’s staff provide reference and guidance services, while also developing the different collections for research and teaching purposes. The staff’s work is done in collaboration with the acquisition departments and the different faculties, in accordance with the relevant fields of learning and teaching. The staff also conducts tours of the reading halls as part of the courses being taught and according to prior arrangement.
